Parents should contact the Local Authority for information about our admission arrangements.
Rosewood School admits pupils aged between 11 and 16 years with a wide range of moderate or specific learning difficulties. The school has significant experience in the education of young people with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ODD, OCD and mental health issues.
The Local Authority, following formal assessment of a child’s special educational needs initiates referral of a student to the school. Parents/Carers of this child are encouraged to and are very welcome to visit the school. Both parent/carers and the child will be given a guided tour of the facilities by an experienced member of staff who can also answer any questions or reassure them if they have any concerns.
Parents/carers are asked to contact our school office to make an appointment using the number 01384 816800. If following your visit you are interested in a place for your child, you should discuss this further with the SEN team of Dudley Education.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, pupils are admitted to school at the beginning of a term.
Pupils who are due to start in the following September have the opportunity to attend a half day taster session in July at Rosewood School to support their transition process.
